Danica Claims a Victory and Makes History
    MOTEGI, JAPAN - Auto racing icon Danica Patrick made IndyCar history on April 20, 2008 with a first place finish at the Indy Japan 300 in her 50th career start. In 2005, Danica nearly won the pole at the Indy 500 and although she came in fourth at the finish, it earned her rookie of the year status. Since then, Danica has coveted her own visit to the winner's circle. After the race, Danica was quoted as saying, "When it actually happened, maybe it was a little anticlimactic... Then the emotions came out and that was a little girly of me."

The Next Generation
    Brittany and Courtney Force learned an important lesson about racing in the Super Comp class Friday during the 37th annual ACDelco NHRA Gatornationals; sometimes you only get one chance to win. Their Friday morning qualifying session was cancelled and the daughters of 13-time NHRA POWERade champion John Force had to wait until 8:30 p.m. for their first passes down the Gainesville Raceway quarter mile. That pass would serve as their first pass on the Florida track as well as their first round of eliminations for the national event. Click
