Bittersweet News From Budweiser The Good News Kenny "The Bud King" Bernstein will be inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America on August 12, 2009 at the Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan. The six-time NHRA champion was the first to break 300 MPH, as well as the holder of many other records in the NHRA. He is also the only race team owner to win all three major motorsports series; NHRA, NASCAR, and Indy. So our gratitude goes out to Kenny for being a great role model for auto racing and Budweiser.
Now, The Bad News Anheuser Busch has made the decision to not sponsor the Bernstein Racing Team after 30 years. Also, NHRA drag racing has made the decision to drop Budweiser as the official beer because of their $52 billion take-over deal with Belgian beer company, InBev. The NHRA will be looking very hard for the official beer next year... why, I don't know... I think they are wrong! What do you think? E-mail me and give me your opinion.
